Me and Matthew and Mommy went down to the creek to check on our bridge yesterday and you won't believe what we found- NOTHING!!! The entire bridge was gone. We couldn't find the aspen tree at all, and all we found of the other tree was one end of it. Those dang beavers! We
need that bridge for hunting, and deer opener is next weekend. Luckily, Daddy's friend Bill was here again this weekend, so he and Daddy went and cut two new logs and built another bridge right where the first one used to be. This time, they cut oak trees instead of aspen- that'll show those beavers!
The only thing was, when I went to test the bridge for Daddy we discovered that the logs were a little bit too far apart. Good thing I have good balance!
Daddy took his chain saw and sawed a little off the side and then he and Bill pushed the logs a little closer together and then it was much better
